The Imperfect world

God was in the process of creating the universe. And he was explaining his subordinates...

"Look everything should be in balance.
For example, after every 10 deers there should be a lion. Look here my fellow angels,
here is the country of the United States I have blessed them with prosperity and money.
But at the same time I have given them insecurity and tension...

And here is Africa. I have given them beautiful nature.
But at the same time, I have given them climatic extremes...

And here is South America. I have given them lots of forests.
But at the same time, I have given them lesser land so that they would have to cut off the forests...
So you see fellows, everything should be in balance.

One of the angels asked... "God, what is this extremely beautiful country here?"
God said....... "Ahh...that is the crown piece of all.
"INDIA", my most precious creation.
It has understanding and friendly people.
Sparkling streams, serene mountains.
A culture which speaks of the great tradition that they live.
Technologically brilliant and with a heart of gold...

The angel was quite surprised "But god you said everything should be in balance."

God replied - "Look at the neighbours, I gave them !!

Holi : Solution to food-grain price rise !!

So the festival of colours has come, marking the end of winters and the harvesting season has started !!!! feels so nice.. yeah that is the sole reason why festivals are there for human-beings.. to feel happy and celebrate the efforts which they have put in for so long....

so we can expect that with the new crops (Rabi crops) coming up in the market.. the food-grain prices will come down and will give some cheers to nearly every citizen of our country....thus this Holi will be having greater essence and importance in the common men's life who are suffering from the price rise !!

May our expectations come true and may this festival of colour add colours to everyone's life.... till then:

"HAPPY HOLI"

Hindi Teleserials = Chewing Gum

I wanted to write on this particular issue since long..but was refraining myself that probably good sense will prevail in the Hindi serial directors & producers but after such a long wait....nothing of that seems in the horizon also !!

To be very clear at the outset itself.. I am not a fan of any Hindi T.V. serial but 'am not against them also.... since they appeal and generate interest in many other people.
After the demise of the teleserials made by our very own soap-queen (K)Ekta Kapoor, it was thought that there will be some new series on offer whereby stories will end when the main plot on which the story revolves is revealed..
It all started-off well with new directors providing new stories based on new themes and new plots....they got huge fan followings too.. but probably these directors and producers do not understand that it is better to wrap up a show(product) when it is on the Maturity phase of its life cycle 'cuz that makes the teleserial to be remembered even after ages of its end (for instance "Ramayana", "Mahabharata", "Buniyaad", "Hum-Log", "Chandrakaanta", "The Jungle Book" etc.)

Some people have a different say to that and they differ to my point saying that we are having lot many "Reality Shows" coming up these days..i respect this point of view and those shows had been respected too like "Kaun Banega Crorepati", "MTV Roadies", "Indian Idol" but again in this genre of "Reality T.V." shows there are so many stereotypes which came and are coming up everyday, which on the pretext of reality are interested in showing vulgarity like "Emotional Attyachar" or are just trying to give the same product in a new bottle, like "Iss jungle se mujhe bachao" and numerous songs and dance shows !!

We can only expect that a good sense will prevail and we will be able to watch some masterpiece in coming years....

Ardha Kumbha and Maha Kumbha are the occasions when millions of people gather to take holy dip in the sacred waters. This is main reason for one to attend the Maha Kumbha and the Ardha Kumbha festival. Devotees, saints/sadhus turn up in great number from all over the world to take a dip in the holy waters of rivers like the Ganges, Yamuna and the mythological Saraswati at Parayag (Sangam). Kumbha mela (or the Kumbha fair) is one of the largest fairs in the world.. though i've never attended any Kumbha myself..but i've heard that it is one of the best spiritual experiences, one can get..
individuals (mostly Hindus) of every part of the world congregate for taking a holy dip in the pious waters of River Ganges.

It takes place in either of the four places viz.
Haridwar (Uttaranchal), (Banks of River Ganga)
Allahabad (Prayag, Uttar-pradesh), (Banks of River Ganga)
Ujjain (Madhya-Pradesh) (Banks of River Shipra)

The IPL-3 and the issue regarding Pakistani Players

it has been widely covered in the media these days that pakistani players were kept out of the IPL auction this time around.. even when they are current T-20 champions..

some people from our neighbouring country were very fast in lamenting that it has been done on the advice of Government of India just to teach them a lesson or two....but it seems a very childish allegation 'cuz they are not the policy makers in the Government of India that they are knowing who is taking what decision..

Again what media is trying to tell us is that it was a collective decision of the franchisee owners....which can be accepted because IPL is a kind of club cricket whereby the decision of who will be the team-members and who will be the captain, coach etc. is being taken by the franchisee ownners.
Shilpa Shetty (co-owner of Rajasthan Royals) was correct in saying that as a team owner, it is their responsibility to look for the safety and security of their team and if they find that it is difficult for them to provide adequate security to certain players then why should they opt for them ?

even i would like to agree on her saying....just imagine a scenario whereby some of the pakistani players get hurt due to some untoward incidents then again there will be problems brewing up between the two nations.

I dunno what made Mr. Shah Rukh Khan to say that he wanted to take Pakistani players in his team.... if he wanted to take them then why didn't he bid for them in the auction.... if he could have provided all the necessary security to the concerned individuals, he should have made a bid for them.
To comment on certain things after that thing gets over and you were not able to do it at that time itself is idiotic....and Mr. Khan is acting in that manner only.

Also after going through a news item on the internet that Sohail Tanveer (a pakistani bowler) said in an Interview in a pakistani channel after the IPL snub..that "Hinduon ki zahaniyat aisi hi hoti hai" (Hindus are like this only)

I feel it is one of the correct stance taken by the IPL franchisee owners to not to include such idiotic religious fanatics in the garb of players to enter in our country.

Remember this always.....

It’s another morning..
….. Again I have to go to the office.

Ohh, this is me… I shouted having a glance on my snap in today’s news paper.
But what the HELL it is doing in the death column??

Strange…

One sec... Let me think, last night when I was going to bed I had a severe pain in my chest, but I don’t remember anything after that, I think I had a sound sleep.

Its morning now, ohh….. It’s already 10:00 AM, where is my coffee?
I will be late for office and my boss will get a chance to irritate me.

Where is everyone…??? I screamed.

“I think there is a crowd outside my room, let me check.” I said to myself.

So many people….. Not all of them crying…
But why some of them crying…

WHAT IS THIS??? I m laying there on the floor…

“I AM HERE” … I shouted!!! No one listen.
“LOOK I AM NOT DEAD” … I screamed once again!!! No one is interested in me.
They all were looking me on the bed.

I went back to my bed room.

“Am I dead??” I asked myself.

Where is my wife, my children, my mom-DAD, my friends?

I found them in the next room, all of them were crying… still trying to console each other.

My wife was crying… she was really looking sad.
My little kid was not sure what happened, but he was crying just coz his mom was sad.

How can I go without saying my kid that I really love him, I really do care of him. ??
How can I go without saying my wife that she is really most beautiful and most caring wife in this world..??
How can I go without saying my parents that I m … just because of u ??
How can I go without telling my friends that without them perhaps I have done most of the wrong things in my life… thanks for being there always when I need them… and sorry for not being there when they really need me..

I can see a person standing in the corner and trying to hide his tears…
Ohh… he was once my best friend, but a small misunderstanding made us part, and we both have strong enough ego to keep us disconnect.

I went there.. And offered him my hand, “Dear friend… I just want to say sorry for everything, we r still best friend, please forgive me.”

No response from other side, what the hell?? He is still preserving his ego, I am saying sorry… even then!!!
I really don’t care for such people.

But one sec…. it seems he is not able to see me!!!! He did not see my extended hand.
My goodness… AM I REALLY DEAD???

I just sat down near ME; I was also feeling like crying…

“OHH ALMIGHTY!!!! PLEASE JUST GIVE ME FEW MORE DAYS…”
I just wasn’t to make my wife, my parents; my friends realize that how much I love them.

My wife entered in the room, she looks beautiful.
“YOU R BEAUTIFUL” I shouted.
She didn’t hear my words, in fact she never heard these words coz I never said this to her.

“GOD!!!!” I screamed… a little more time plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..
I cried…

One more chance please… to hug my child, to make my mom smile just once, to feel my dad proud on me at least for a moment, to say sorry to my friends for everything I have not given to them, and thanks for still being in my life….

Then I looked up and cried!!!!

I shouted….

“GOD!!!! ONE MORE CHANCE PLEASE!!!!”

"You shouted in your sleep," said my wife as she gently woke me up. "Did you have a nightmare?"

I was sleeping….
Ohh that was just a dream….

My wife was there… she can hear me…
This is the happiest moment of my life…
I hugged her and whispered…. “U R THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND CARING WIFE IN THIS UNIVERSE…. I REALLY LOVE U DEAR”

I can’t understand the reason of the smile on her face with some tears in her eyes, still I m happy…. J

“THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS SECOND? CHANCE.”

SO, Now it’s not late.. forget Ur Egos, Past… and Xpress Ur love to others… Be friendly… Keep smiling… for ever…….

Because one may not get second chance in his / her Life.

Differentiations....

Differentiation.... is one feeling in the human-beings which has been pursued since ages....
just to show that their clan or community is better than the "others"
There are many types of differentiation being done these days on various lines....but i am moved by one which is increasing day by day in the financial hub of our county.....Mumbai.
The Shiv-Sena and the MNS....waging a war of words and speaking rubbish things, just to gain some votes and gain some political mileage and clout.... they don't understand that such differentiations will not only hamper the country's growth but also will be detrimental for Mumbai and Mumbaikars as many industries too will shy away from investing in such a place where such a "state based differentiation" persists.....
I feel that must be one of the reasons of TATA taking its Nano project to Gujarat, by-passing Maharashtra which was a front-runner in getting that project after the Singur crisis....

Its high time now and the "Marathi Manoos" should understand the need of all inclusive growth....'cuz growth can never happen in isolation....be it regional or religional......

For instance: US and some of the European countries made tremendous growth because of all-inclusive approach whereas Saudi-Arabia with all its Petroleum reserves is still nowhere in the growth stage and is heavily dependent on many nations for various aspects......

Hmm.....

Hmm...
there's a girl..
i dunno how she looks.. i've never seen her !!
i dunno much 'bout her..

but i know that she is very intellectual, good at heart and has penchant for the history of her country, religion as well as she is interested in reading novels..those big boring ones written by known faces of the public domain and which had created some stir....
one more typical quality of hers is to get very angry or frustrated by anyone who goes against her viewpoints !!!! ....very kiddish (*smile*)
